The sims 4 64bit is not working (making me run legacy)

My sims 4 game won't let me run it on anything other than legacy edition, even though I'm using a 64bit gaming computer with 16gb of RAM. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, tried to repair the game, a...

The game will start and load to the start menu, but as soon as I click anything the game crashes with no error message, and the game is in 64-bit mode as well.

you should try taking your custom content out. then run the game and see if it works.
