@giovaleska05 Running applications create temporary files. Games often create lots of temp files, or particularly large ones. It's just how computers work.
If you're so low on internal storage that you run out just from trying to play Sims 4, then you need to clear more space. Delete files or programs you don't need, or buy an external drive.
