The Sims 4: Freezing on Loading Screen and Often Crashing PC!
Hi Guys,
I've had The Sims 4 since release day, and only 12 months ago I bought I high performance gaming computer which is above the spec of The Sims 4.
The game has run perfectly smoothly for the last 12 months but in the last couple of weeks it has been crashing on the load game plumbob loading screen, or within the first few seconds on gameplay once I start moving the camera etc.
I have NO CC/Mods Installed.
Firstly it goes extremely laggy and then within a few seconds the cursor freezes, music stops and I end up having to reboot my PC.
It is purely this game, I run other games on high settings and they still run perfectly fine.
I have tried just about every fix including deleting cache, moving the tray folder, restoring factory defaults, repairing the game, reinstalling the game and running the game without Origin and in Offline mode.
I have ran out of ideas and it's really bugging me now.
