Hello, I just brought the sims 4 seasons and i was SUPER exited to play it cause it's my favorite game, Even though i didn't tried it yet i saw roleplays in youtube and i REALLY liked the game, So i purshase the sims 4 seasons and was exited but it turned to me be disapointed and sad a lot, I lunch it and i entered the main page and it was LESS lag 100% not lagging i created my sims and a dog pet without any lag i was SO exited it worked well without any lag but when i clicked the play button and the photo came out and i clicked on play to continue into the game and then it started loading and stopped for some reason and closes itself without my permission or an error message, I remember that i've got an error message before saying : "The application was unable to start error 0xc000012d,Click OK to close the application. " and after that i tried again and i didn't get this message, All i got was it closes itself after loading it stops moving but the mouse moves so well without crashing or lagging and it closes itself, Can i have some help? this is my computer details, I decided to remove mods and cc, I don't have any mods/CCs, I saw a video that removes the mod that comes with the game that Resource.cfg file but when i changed its place as you can see in the photo it comes again so i decided to keep it as its comes with the game, Can anyone help me PLEASE?! by the way i gaved all the information you can need, So don't waste time by asking again do you have cc/mods or computer infos or how it closes and when and...ect, Thank's for reading/understaning, I hope you can help me with my problem.. ☹️Edit: made the letters a little bit smaller

I'm sorry but 2 GB RAM simply are not enough to play the game. I would need a DxDiag to see if there were other problems but there is no need to post one as the memory issue means you can't play the game.

You can also buy a GPU that fits the other components in your PC. Since the game has some minimum requirements to run, and your PC is under them, upgrades are required :3. I know, some more money to invest, but it's for the better since you'll be able to play the game for some other years further ^_^. - In the DxDiag, your CPU (the processor) is not shown. You can read the Microsoft's advice regarding this: https://support.microsoft.com/en-hk/help/930861/device-manager-does-not-show-updated-processor-information-on-a-window- Or you can install IObit Driver Booster, which will find the driver for your CPU and recognize it. https://www.iobit.com/en/driver-booster.phpAfter finding your CPU model, you can go to your local store to let them know what you'll like to buy and what components you currently have. They should know what to recommend. As a side note, getting more opinions will help you decide what to buy and what's better. You know, they need to be compatible with each other. I know it is not the answer that you were expecting because you'd really love to play, but if the PC specs are not high enough for the minimum req, then as many solutions as we'd give, it won't solve it ☹️. I'm sorry but 2 GB RAM simply are not enough to play the game. I would need a DxDiag to see if there were other problems but there is no need to post one as the memory issue means you can't play the game.

I agree that your CPU is quite old and the game will surely run pretty slowly or not at all. We can however troubleshoot this and maybe there will be a positive result, let's attract it ^_^.

Hello, Let's say first thank's a lot for answering and trying best to help, I'm really felling like there is a hidden chance to play it again, Let's go to it, First things a lot changed ! I uninstalled the sims 4 seasons in case i got really bored from trying and i decided to buy the sims 4 get famous cause it's newer and we don't know if it'll work so i purchase it, When i opened it at first time i got a black screen in place of the main menu and it flashed a bit and the game exits/closes itself, So i tried to watch on youtube some solutions and nothing is alike to my problem, I read your amazing and helpfully answers to people that have a similar problem as me so all i found is to change the fullscreen number in the options.ini file to opposite like i had a "fullscreen : 1" i changed it to "0" and the game worked fine and started i got so exited about that but ... It really worked without any lag like 60 fps or higher in creating a sim page, i started and a few seconds after it it starts to freeze and works again and then closes itself again and all i got is an error message i don't know why but i'm sure i tried a lot of solutions like going to task manager and disable some of stuff i disabled the thing named igfyx tray cause i remember in the sims 4 seasons i got an error and this name was in this error message and then i restart my pc and this new error message came you take a look at it on the files i uploaded, And take a look at the Dxdiag i put my system dxdiag plus the display one, I'm really exhausted of looking through the internet for sulotions cause i'm sure that nothing will happend... I really lost all my chances in this point but, I can give you my trust 🙂
I tried to update my intel driver but the problem here is that EVERYONE haves like intel hd graphics6500 or stuff like that but all i have is intel hd graphics there is no number,Which is making it hard to find updates to my driver.. :'( Anyways i hope you can help i'll be REALLY glad for not losing money on nothing... But you know if you can't help it's fine.. At least you tried 🙂 I have no mods / ccs and i tried putting the file in desktop but not working and i tried to do the compability thing to windows vista 3 packs but all i have is windows 7 windows 8 windows vista windows vista 2 packs windows 1 pack and all of those didn't did the work, Any other solutions PLEASE? 😢

I really feel sorry for you but you have a computer that can barely handle the game. You have 2 GB and this is sufficient for the base game, but not if you have installed packs. Your card is too weak. Windows 7 is OK if you have Windows7 Home Premium and more RAM - at last 4
Minimum requirements for the game
OS: 64 Bit Required. Windows 7 (SP1), Windows 8, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10
CPU: 1.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, AMD Athlon 64 Dual-Core 4000+ or equivalent (For computers using built-in graphics chipsets, the game requires 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.0 GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-62 or equivalent)
RAM: At least 4 GB RAM ---!!!!!!
HARD DRIVE: At least 3 GB of free space (15 GB if installing with The Sims™ 4) with at least 1 GB additional space for custom content and saved games
VIDEO: 128 MB of Video RAM and support for Pixel Shader 3.0. Supported Video Cards: NVIDIA GeForce 6600 or better, ATI Radeon X1300 or better, Intel GMA X4500 or better.
With what you have you can play base game plus "Get to work" for example. Nothing more.

I installed windows 10 and i don't have any lag with it, Plus the game works really well i mean like when the loading screen it dosen't lag and the main menu and create a sim i said that when i created two sims and a pet before it closes itself and this error blocks the way to EVEN enter the game and wait for the loading screen it was less lag like 60 FPS i think i have something to fix then it can start back and play it because it dosen't lag but it doesn't start because of the error message below, Can you please help? At least a try!!! 😢 😢 😢 😢

I'm sorry but the news has not gotten better. There is no way you will be able to play the game with your PC. Particularly not with any of the newer Expansions as they are more demanding on the hardware.

The graphics card is too weak for the game to start. The game is trying turn on but not it can't with this card.
