Downloaded The Sims 4 on a Windows 10 64bit oeprating system and the game will not open.
Upon trying I get the error code [de4ee14:29f00e76:0000000:4b0d852b] every time without fail.
I have tried redownloading several times with the same issues.
I have no mods installed.
There is plenty of room on the install drive.
Framework is up to date on my Windows machine.
I run everything with Admin privs.
Has anyone else gotten this?

15cb5bf14008e4f5 this code, I play on origin, It says its already open so i can't do anything like repair the game or update it! It's not even open on my desktop, PLEASE HELP!!
My game will not open after the e-patch. I repaired my game and it does the same thing. The only mod i downloaded after i updated was MCCC so i could update it. I’ve been on multiple discord servers asking for help but none have provided an answer please help

@fairyofwaves Please move the Mods folder to the desktop, delete localthumbcache.package, and see whether the game opens.
I did that and it worked fine then when i put them back my game won’t open. I have enough storage so I don’t think that’s a problem. If I leave the game alone for a few days will it go back to normal?
I had a error startup configuration, basically I amended my graphics rules in the main folder for SSAO and Sim Texture, then copied the file to the Config folder override folder, its always worked until last patch update, been thinking it was cc related it's not, I'm not saying this is your problem but try and take the config file out of your override folder if you have one and see if it starts, mine did straight away I just left the config in the main game bin. I apologize about my english it is not my native language.
I also ran a dxdiag just in case.
@fairyofwaves If your game works without mods but doesn't work with them, then the issue is one or more of your mods. The July patch broke a lot of mods, maybe most of them, so this isn't a surprise. You'll need to update your mods or remove the broken ones for now.
And no, things won't go back to normal if you just wait a few days.
All of my mods are up to date. I was able to play with the patch even before the emergency patch. I even took out my script mods and recently downloaded cc and my game still would not open.
@fairyofwaves Again, if your game works with nothing in the Mods folder but doesn't work once you add your mods and cc back in, then you still have an issue with at least one mod or cc item. It's really that simple.
