So after the update from Feb 4th, I can't get past C.A.S. Basically when I finish creating a sim I can't go into build mode or play, and I can't resume a game it will just send me to the screen that says New Crest Oasis Springs and Willow creek. or when I resume a game it will send me to the same screen when I click where I moved my households in it loads for 5 minutes straight and after it goes to the same screen. Does anyone have a solution?
Cutesimmer12 Please remove your Mods folder if there's anything in it aside from Resource.cfg.
If that doesn't help or isn't relevant, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. If it copies instead of moving, or you get an error when trying to move it, stop here and let me know.
Otherwise, when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs, that is if you can get that far.
If you still can't play, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
