There is a problem with your game's setup!

legit just downloaded the sims 4 a couple weeks ago cause some friends of mine said i might love it and i thought i might as well check it out. I downloaded it and played it for a while then went on and got some mods. After playing a couple more times with mods i got the error saying "Error: There is a problem with your game's setup, please reinstall your game".

Really don't wanna do that cause it took me like a day or two to download it in the first place and i've seen other people on here saying that reinstalling it didn't even work. Already tried forcing the digital 9x thingy and i cant download any drivers since i dont have the graphic compatibilities? let a dude know if this means that i just cant use the game anymore or what

much love :D

  • EJAY_tootough  Thanks for the dxdiag, which shows your computer's system drive is critically low on space.  5 GB free isn't always enough for Windows to maneuver even before you add in a demanding game like Sims 4.  So please try to clear at least another 20 GB, for a total of 25 free.  Since your D drive is actually just a partition of C, it doesn't matter what you move to D, performance will be the same.

Once you've done that, restart your computer and try again to play.  If the game still doesn't work, remove your Mods folder and try again.
