obenqkok Thanks for the dxdiag. The issue may be that your laptop's hardware is somewhat weak for Sims 4. That doesn't mean you can't play, but performance may not be ideal.
What can help is restarting your computer immediately before you want to play, and making sure nothing is open aside from the game and the EA App. Check the Task Manager's Startup section to see whether any other apps are starting with Windows that don't need to, for example Edge or Teams might be on the list. Disabling something at startup doesn't mean you can't use it, only that it won't open on its own.
You can also try putting the EA App in offline mode before you launch Sims 4. This would cut off your access to the Gallery and login events, but everything else should work fine, so you could do this when you didn't need the online features.
