Trouble opening lots

about 7 years ago, I began my legacy save with 10s of sims so far and many houses built for them to reside in. Ive built a large house that contains some CC, all of my generational pictures, and some grave stones. (before the most recent update which doesn't even ALLOW me in my game. 🙄) i cannot open build mode or enter the lot with my mods and cc turned on. Ive tried saving the household to my gallery without CC on the lot but it wont place again. I really need to open this lot while i have CC in my file so i can retrieve the headstones and other memorabilia for my save.
