Trouble With Island Living Glitches...

Is anyone else experiencing major glitches since installing Island Living? For instance.. my sims will take multiple sim hours to complete a single task that is queued or just ignore it altogether. I keep trying to feed my toddler and the queue sits for forever and then cancels itself so I'm forced to use a cheat to fulfill her needs so she doesn't get taken away. There is also other random glitchiness going on.. for example: My cat squatted in its litter box for about 5 sim hours doing the same little pooping animation until I finally used the debug cheat to save her from a hernia. Another time the cat was running in circles and glitching in and out of the staircase. My sim took a bath and the clothing change animation repeated itself numerous times before just making her naked but her head on the left corner showed she was fully clothed. It's making this game agonizingly painful to play! I do not have any Mods or CC installed.

Are you using any mods or CC? If yes move the mods folder to the desktop and try without it.
Errors of the game are saving sometimes in localthumbcache.package file. Find this file in the folder of the game and delete it. The game will recreate it but without saved errors. Look for it in Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims4 folder.
Then fix the game in Origin
Origin /Library - right click on TS4 - option "repair game"
Problems with a long time to complete a single task may indicate that there is not enough memory RAM for the game left by the system.
However, the best way to get rid of all small bugs like this and to eliminate the possibility of too small memory is doing the factory reset of the game folder.

If after this factory reset part of this issues will remain - could you post your Computer's DxDiag?
To gather a DxDiag on your computer, please follow the steps here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/pc/how-to-gather-dxdiag-information/
