Try for baby/Woohoo option gone

One of my couples have no option to try for baby/woohoo. All my other couples do.

  • I debugged the bed and the sims
  • they are both adults
  • married
  • the double bed is open on both sides
  • pink and green bars are up all the way
The options don't come up on the bed or in the romance part of the chat menu. Please help me!!

No mods--- But I did discover the cause of the problem. In short, it comes from screwing around with the age of the NPC in the couple. Both times this has happened to me I've realized it was because the NPC was a teen who aged up into an adult. I then aged them down since my own sim was still a teen. I aged them back up with my own sim, which probably confused the game and created the bug... I'm not going to be doing that again.

Still haven't found the solution to the problem if it happens, though.

Moving them in and out didn't do much--It seems they're bugged for life...

I did discover that the issue happens after the sims age up. The bug's happened twice for me now, both times after the sims have aged up from teen to young adult.

There's always a chance to screw up your game if you use cheats too much, especially changing age.

If moving out and back in doesn't reset the Sim, I don't think there's much you can do. Maybe there's a mod that can help but I wouldn't know.

  • I have this strange bug that's only cropped up recently and never for me before. I created this household and they had about a million babies and I got fed up of them so kicked them out. Created a new Sim who was... well putting it about a little I guess. But there is no option for her to try for a baby - she can woohoo in whatever position she wants to but no babies.

She's family orientated (just hasn't found the right one!) and has about 4 guys on the go but she just can't seem to try for a baby. I've moved her out of that house into a different one etc etc but no dice. Very annoying as I wanted a slutty single mom to have a baby so it can become my alien baby's play mate...

Is there a fix? I have no mods installed whatsoever.
