Unreasonable lag in 64x64 lot.

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except luxury party and my first pet.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Playtest a full household in the 40x40 lot in Brindelton bay, and then the same house in the 64x64 lot in the same world with the same household.
What happens when the bug occurs? There's severe lag in large households in homes int he 64x64 lot in Brindelton bay that is not present when I play the same house and household in smaller lots, including the 40x40 in the same town.
What do you expect to see? I expect both lots to behave the same way and not have lag if the household and home are both the same. Since I also paid for the 64x64 lot, I except to be able to use it. I don't understand why it lags so much more if the houses are the same.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

    Are you using more than one monitor ?

    Make sure the game uses your graphics card and not the chip.

    Also try updating your Nvidia drivers.

    yes, I have 2 monitors: my laptop monitor + an old cintiq, but I play on the lap-top monitor. I've talked to other simmers about this, and they too have just given up on playing the large lots.

    my drivers are up to date.

    I have changed my global settings so that the graphics processor used is always the NVIDIA one.

    sorry to late a while to respond, I lost this thread and took me a bit to remember it should be in my email.

    The lag in ts4 is just such a deal-breaker for me. I love the game, but I hate that I can't play without tip-toeing around the game by only having small households, small lots, lag mods, etc. I'm so tired of it I switched over to TS2 and the difference is just so strong, I don't have any lag there at all--even in large lots with tons of sims.

    Your drivers are from February. There should be Mai ones though

    which drivers?? I just udpated GeForce which updates the NVIDIA and the device manager says that the intel one is all updated.

    @DreamaDove  Are you using dual monitors when you play the game? Are you playing the game at 3840X2160 (4K) resolution? Streaming 4K is not as hard on the hardware as playing a game in 4K. Have you tried to play the gamw 1080p?
