WASD and arrow keys not working for navigation

Since the Update that i installed a few days ago, the WASD and Arrow keys wont work for the navigation of the camera. i have tried reparing the game, i have tried redownloading it, i have tried resetting the settings, but neither the sims 4 cam nor the sims 3 cam seem to work with WASD or the Arrow keys, even tho things like pressing T for Top-down-View and G for enableing or disabling the grid still work just fine. Navigation with mouse also works fine but especially in build mode its a hassle. I also dont have any mods installed. Does anyone have an idea? (I have recently purchased the Lovestruck bundle, the Kitchen clutter, sleek bathroom and country kitchen)

    Having the same issue, thought I was insane or worse that I broke my laptop. Unfortunately only work around for me that's doable is edge scrolling and using Sims 3 camera, but also edge scrolling is only working in Full screen. So rip if you're like me and use to windowed mode. Nothing is getting the keys functional again.

    MadLittleSimmers​  To be clear, you've tried disabling any apps that come with overlays (for example Discord and Steam), and disabled the EA App in-game overlay, and also tried a clean boot, and none of it helped at all?  If so, what language does your operating system use, and what language layout does your keyboard have?  It's possible the keys are remapped in your language.

    I had the same issue and tried everything, turned out my windows user was corrupted.  Gemini walked me through how to force windows to make a new administrator user on my laptop, I made sure not to change any settings other then telling crap that pops up after start up not to open, adjusting the display and NOT signing into Microsoft
