What are these files for and can I delete them?

I have been having an issue with my game it keeps giving me an error 102/122 and I noticed I have a bunch of new files in my sims file and have no idea if it is safe to delete and if that will fix my game the files are

lastexception x7

ReticulatedSplines

ReticulatedSplinesViews

events

ExcludedMusic

localthumbcache.package

can someone please help me and let me know if any of these are safe to delete

    This was fixed in the latest patch. Please update your game.

    Lastexception can be delete as can localthumbcache.package. It will be recreated.
