I need some help..

So i opened sims 4 after some months and i was previously remaking all the houses and families etc. When i got in game all of the families were evicted (the houses where there) BUT when i tried to putting back in the families the furniture from each home would get removed even if it was there before doing that. so i sat down replacing the houses and families for each lot and then i noticed when i wanted to delete a building the game wouldn't let me, it would delete furniture but not the rest of the building, (i tried to make a new save and the same thing happened again), can someone help? ( i don't think it's the mods i have in better exceptions didn't show anything that could cause it) thanks in advance.

    Hi BlackheartM​ 

    Try the following

    - Close the game
    - Rename Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 to Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4_Old
    - Repair the game
    - Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry. 
    - Start a new save game
    - Check if you still have the error
    - Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
