Re: [CURRENT ISSUE] Sims 4 Unable to Start, Already Running

Actually, this happens every time I open TS 4. I’ve already checked the mods and CC, but it doesn’t seem like there’s anything wrong with them. Before, when I played it, everything was fine. I’ve been waiting for the game to load, but it still doesn’t appear. However, the message “game is running” always pops up. What should I do? Is there any solution or a way to fix this? Could this be an EA app issue? Or maybe there’s a mod or CC causing the game to crash, but I didn’t realize it. Please help

Update:
Onedrive. It was one drive. I had just updated my computer and that sleezy app choked everything. I had to go in and manually uninstall it before everything would run smooth again. I lost my saves from my own doing but I wasnt too deep in so I'm salty but not heartbroken

I am having the exact same issue to the extent I have checked the file integrity multiple times. I have Uninstalled and reinstalled, which took 5 hours. I made sure steam and ea app were updated. I fixed ea app. I uninstalled and reinstalled ea app. I have reset, restarted, and hard rebooted my laptop multiple times.
And all task manager ever shows is multiple ea nonsense that never closes even though I have everything else closed and a Sims game that only shows up in background processes.
I have wasted a whole day fighting with it after I dumped $80 on dlc and im pissed.
