White Screen then Crash to Desktop
_complexiity94 Thanks for the dxdiag. The odd thing is, it doesn't list any Windows error reports at all. Did you just install a new version of Windows (clean install or update)? If not, do you use a cleaner app that deletes temp files? That could remove the WERs as well. If you do use such an app, please remove or disable it while we're troubleshooting.
For the Sims 4 issue itself, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs, if you can get that far.
If you get another crash, please look for new errors in the Reliability Monitor. Click Windows key-R and enter perfmon /rel in the run box, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day. Today is on the right.
Look for an error that happened at exactly the time you most recently tried to open Sims 4. If you find one, right-click its name and select "View technical details," then copy the information there and paste it into a reply. If you don't find anything in the right time frame, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.
