What do you mean by this? The Sims 4 has a Mods folder already there. Go to your files, documents, electronic arts, sims 4, mods, and just drag or copy paste the package file(the download). Hopefully this will help. Happy Simming!!
- Anonymous11 years agoI did that, but every time I try to get custom content any place other than fancysimmer's tumblr it shows an error message.

I get windows can't open the file and to use web service or chose A program to open it with.

The package files ? You don't need to open them. Just copy into your mods folder. If they are rar files you need to donload 7zip or winrar.

Thank You for your help. You have helped me A lot.
i don't get it
- Okay. I already know to do that. I still cannot see any custom content in my game. Help?

Make sure you are following the steps provided to install said custom content to ensure it functions properly. We can't really help much more than that, possibly the creator of the mod themselves might be of more assistance. The mod itself might not be compatible with the game anymore if it's come out before the latest patch. 🙂
