Anytime I try to travel, build or move a sim into San Myushuno it freezes and crashes. I have tried new save files, I have removed all mods, all cc, no change. It still crashes. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game and none of these options work. What's the deal and why is this issue still happening 7 years after it was first reported?
ChasingLuna To be clear, the game crashes when you try to travel to San Myshuno in a new save, with your Mods folder removed? If you haven't tested this yet, please do so now. And please try each neighborhood separately, and let me know whether the game crashes with all of them.
Yes, all is true, mods removed, fresh save, even reinstalled with no mods anywhere on my pc and still does not work.
ChasingLuna Please try only reinstalling City Living. I realize you reinstalled the entire game already, but for reasons that aren't clear, sometimes that doesn't work. Clear the EA App's cache first:

Close the App and kill the EABackgroundService in the Task Manager, in the background processes list. Open [install location]\The Sims 4, here by default:
C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4
Delete the EP03 folder inside, then open the Delta folder and delete the EP03 folder inside there. Open the EA App and repair the game (Sims 4 > Manage > Repair), then reinstall the pack (Manage > Manage add-ons). Please test a(nother) new save first, to be thorough.

I followed the instructions, and now when I launch the game and start a new save, San Myushuno is not listed in my worlds, like not even there. Not greyed out, just gone. What did I do wrong? My game and most of the dlcs were bought through steam.
Oh, forgot to say that it does not crash with any other neighborhood.

Please also run a search for the pack. Open a File Explorer window, click This PC in the left panel, and enter EP03 in the search field in the upper-right corner. Wait for the search to finish, then make sure the full file path is showing under each result. If it's not, expand the window sideways as necessary. Take a screenshot using Windows key-shift-S and attach it to a reply here.
