My sim child goes to the void critter game station, but when they get the message to buy cards from the PC and they look on the PC , there is no option to buy the cards. So how can they buy them , and they cannot play the game.

Try selling the computer and get a new one.
You can also search for cards in the frog trees and in the trash.
Okay, thanks Crinrict, I will try those and see, but I did go to another house and they could buy the card packs on their computer. It seems to be solved after I downloaded the fix for the water slide.
