Why is it not working?????

so for the last week or so my game has not let me prompt sims interactions. Like is i press on a sim the interaction list thingy wont pop up! NOT EVEN WHEN I PRESS ON AN ALREADY SELCTED SIM. ive trie...

    KaysLeftFlap​  If you have any files in ConfigOverride, in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, please remove them.  If that doesn't help or isn't relevant, please remove your Mods folder and test.  You don't need to save your progress.

    If that doesn't help either, please disable any apps you use that come with overlays: Steam, Discord, etc.  Disable the EA App in-game overlay as well, under Settings > Application.
