kehleeboo​  This is a known issue on newer HP gaming laptops.  Here are some known workarounds:


None of these works for everyone, but something almost always does, so keep trying the workarounds until you find one that lets you play.

    WOW. Thank you so much for your quick response! I figured night mode would be the easiest to check first, and what do you know, that did the trick. I was even able to copy my saves over and get those loaded without an issue.

    I’m glad there’s some other potential fixes if I, or anyone else, have trouble in the future.
