Every time I go to play with any of the houses on the little island in Windenburg, whether it be trying to play with a family or build mode, the game keeps not responding. The rest of that map works fine and I have checked everywhere else in the game and it all works fine, just none of those lots specifically will load. I have tried repairing the and uninstalling it and reinstalling it, it just refuses to work.
- Do you have any mods or custom content (CC) in your game? Could you test without?
You can just move the folder to a location outside the Electronic Arts folder.
If the game works without your CC and mods in, your issue is probably caused by a broken mod or CC.

If it still doesn't work I suggest taking out half of your mods and CC and testing the game. Then keep splitting until you find all that is broken.
Either update or remove the broken CC/mods.

Here it is, I do not use any mods in my game and haven't changed anything on my computer or to the game in between when it worked and did not.
Your graphics card driver could use an update:
