credenza27 I doubt the issues you've listed are related to the driver issue. The EA App sometimes stops working as well as it should for no apparent reason, and then starts working again for no apparent reason; causes could easily be on the EA side rather than local. (And this doesn't sound like the problem Nvidia was trying to address with its hotfix.) I wouldn't give it any further thought unless it happens again, and in that case, I'd uninstall and reinstall the App.
For the "uninstaller path empty" errors, you could be missing (or have deleted) the registry entries that have to do with uninstalling the game. If you're worried about it, you can do a clean uninstall of Sims 4 with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine), which should remove any and all related registry entries it fines; then reinstall knowing you're getting fresh copies of everything.
In general, if you ever think your graphics driver might not be working properly, and rolling back to a previous version (through the Device Manager) doesn't help or isn't feasible, you can DDU the current driver and try an older one that you know worked at the time. Here's how:
