I played sims4 last night and this morning all the changes I made have been reset..strangely the event quest, wich I completed is still marked as 'completed'. All the changes I made to the Sims I played with and their house and status have been deleted. How can I get my content back? Has anyone had similar problems? What should I do?
No, it's not quite what I mean. The time that is missing is the entire day 12th of Feburary. It's not in the saves folder at all. There is only the previously mentioned document with the right time stamp and it's only a text file. I played a little after my original post because I didn't get anywhere with the recovery but I'd still love to get the old achievements back. The link you sent is good, if someone intends to recover data from the 'saves' folder but mine is not there.
2yy6wsto3gzq If the save isn't there, then there's nothing else you can do and nowhere else to look, unfortunately. The data doesn't get saved elsewhere unless OneDrive is involved, and you said you don't use it, plus your user folder isn't in the OneDrive folder anywhere.
