Yet another unsupported video card...

I was in Sims 4 CAS and had to close my laptop really quick, when I opened it again it gave me a pop up about trying to connect? I hit okay and my whole computer restarted. When I tried to launch the game again, it gave me a thing that said something along the lines of "DisplayName missing from registry". I exited out instead of clicking any options and tried again to launch the game. It worked, but I got the error message,

"Your video card was detected within our Database but does not meet the minimum requirements for the Sims 4. Should you continue to play you may encounter poor performance and issues with the software."

Now its lagging, the graphics are bad, and when I try to load into a savefile that takes me into my manage worlds build mode build I'm working on, it doesn't load, just shows me the dark blue loading screen with the build's name in the middle and the pond decals and spawners menu at the bottom.

I already took out my mods folder and put it back in, verified integrity of game files on Steam, and updated my computer. All three did squat. Might be worth mentioning that I just downloaded the divergent-sims mod by adeepindigo two days before, but my game never exhibited performance issues with it.

My computer is an MSI gaming computer if that helps, and I did Dxdiag. What i think is the problem is listed in it but I need confirmation on that and instructions on how to fix it from someone who actually knows what they're doing ^^'>

If that doesn't help, please post a new dxdiag.

Thank you so much! My computer actually automatically asked me if I wanted to install a better driver ( it took a few days, but still ) and so the problem has already been resolved. I just didn't know how to like properly update the post to say I didn't need help anymore, but also its just nice to have confirmation that I did the right thing, so thank you still.

I'm not sure the driver I have now is the newest and best because Sims 4 is running just a teeny bit slower than it originally did, but it doesn't affect gameplay or loading at all. I will definitely follow your instructions about the driver page to make sure 👍
