njboklonbv Sorry for the late reply. Your dxdiag shows that your laptop is using the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter rather than a proper graphics driver, which is why your GPU is seen as below the minimum requirement. You'll simply need to install the proper driver and restart your computer. I can't tell you what driver that would be without knowing what hardware you have, but once you know the GPU model, go to the Nvidia or AMD driver page, enter the model name and other relevant details, and you'll be able to download the driver from there.
If that doesn't help, please post a new dxdiag.

Thank you so much! My computer actually automatically asked me if I wanted to install a better driver ( it took a few days, but still ) and so the problem has already been resolved. I just didn't know how to like properly update the post to say I didn't need help anymore, but also its just nice to have confirmation that I did the right thing, so thank you still.
I'm not sure the driver I have now is the newest and best because Sims 4 is running just a teeny bit slower than it originally did, but it doesn't affect gameplay or loading at all. I will definitely follow your instructions about the driver page to make sure 👍
