  • Hello @Shockwavecbb,

Let's try to fix this issue! Have you tried to restarting your computer? It might have been a one time issue.

If you have already tried that, please, go to Windows Update and make sure you have your system completely updated.

If that doesn't help, then, please, go to Microsoft's website and reinstall DirectX.

    Can you play now? 🙂

    Hi @Shockwavecbb,

By 'mod' you mean modifications made by players to make the game behave differently?

If so, try to run the game without mods. If it works without them, then you will have to play without them...

    Dear @EA_Mai

Uh sorry for misleading description, I am not meaning mod designed by others players.

My status is just installed the game which purchased from Origin then run without any non-official modification,

but I cant even create a monarch character at the beginning, the creating process can only shown as attached picture, which is only have control panel at the left and bottom-left, the rest is all green.

I tried to ignore this then just click randomize my sims in order to start the game asap, but there is no any change even I keep to click the "tick" button.

Thus, I consider there is something conflict with the game about graphic and program, may you help me to find out?

    Thanks.

Oh, ok @Shockwavecbb, sure, let's try to fix this one also!

Could you try to play the game in full screen mode? You should be able to set that in the game options. Also, if that doesn't help, could you try to change the resolution of the game?

    Any changes? 🙂

I'm sorry to hear that, @Shockwavecbb.  Could you please give us more technical information about your computer? A dxdiag would be very helpful. You can find instructions on how to get a dxdiag here, and you can attach it to your answer.

    Thanks,

    Mai

    I'm glad to read that @Shockwavecbb! 🙂

You might want to share the solution to the issue in case someone else has the same problem in the future and finds this thread 😉

    Enjoy the game!
