A Claus for reunion: can’t watch next season with santa (The sims free play)

I’m facing a problem that Santa keeps running away during the task causing that I can’t finish this task. My sims already done it for three times (completing it alone by watching but I can’t hit the requirement😢) and this is the fourth time I try with restarting my device but it’s still the same. Can anyone help out with this situation?😭Thank youu
