Cannot “Watch the Train Demonstration” After Update

The issue is supposed to be fixed already. Possibly it didn’t arrive in your town, yet. Then it usually helps to force close and open up the game again. 

I submitted a chat to online support asking if the LPs would be refunded and if we would get a time extension due to their bug. No answer so far. Someone else here posted that they did get their LPs refunded, so I think if more people send a chat to the online support, it’s more likely that we will get the refund and time extension.

What do you mean “force close”? Like reset it? Sorry, I’m a bit dense

On iOS “force close” means to open the app switcher and wipe out the app/s. It’s the first step of troubleshooting. Most times this helps already.
Reseting the game is the very, very last thing to do. If saving to the cloud didn’t work properly, you can lose the entire town.

while trying to complete the quest to watch the train demonstration in the park my sun always starts but 15 seconds into starting the sim suddenly stops and won’t complete the task in the quest 

A lot of players ran into this bug and the issue has been fixed.

It should help to force close and open up the game again. On iOS it’s to open the app switcher and wipe out the app.
I don’t know, how it works on Android. 

EA, please read this carefully: the LP refund is one thing. However, the issue still remains that due to this bug, the time limit to complete the quest and get the conductor outfit reward has already expired. Will a time extension be applied so that the award can still be earned?

Update 5.95.1 released in the App Store and Google Play on the 11th of September 2025 should fix this and other problems
