Glitch in development site

Hi. I've been experiencing a glitch where my sims can gain two shard resources but then they all disappear after getting the next ones so I continuously cannot complete the shard resources to move on in the development. I tried reinstalling and troubleshooting and contacting EA with no resolution. Can anyone help me or is facing the same issue ?
