Latest update removed previous save game data from cloud

The latest update for sims FreePlay somehow removed months of saved game data, including items purchased and won from several sim chase seasons, as well as events. Game was saved to cloud, on all accounts, however unable to retrieve previous save game data. Wondering if anyone else experienced this after the latest update?
