    I have been experiencing the same problem for the past week, I use my iPad to play. I'd noticed that something's were a little glitchy after the last update, such as the text was all broken up when displayed on screen - I'm not sure if this could be a related problem?
    I don't want to delete the app and re-install as a friend of mine tried that when she had problems with the daily mail box cash, and she lost all her progress. I'm level 38, with a town value of 90m so I have no desire to start again! Any help would be much appreciated

    Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.  It was all fine Saturday December 20, 2014 which was a couple of days after the update until it stopped working around 1:00 PM and it said "Unfortunately Freeplay has stopped".  Please help me.  Th e wrbsite below won't work.  The Sims Freeplay has been like this for 6 days.

  • I had the same problem on the same device. Try going into the app manager, find freeplay and click force stop. Wait a few seconds then reload the app. Fixes it for me every time.

    Hello, I had experienced the same thing. I had worked really hard with a town worth $783,000 and with $511,000 +. I was highly upset and tried to find answers. Ok everything was saved for me. Whatever device you are working with and I'm on a pad. I just said to heck with it. I took the courage and uninstalled the app. Had to even restart my pad. I did that and went to my playstore and picked "sims freeplay" again.after its downloaded again, you should come the cloud thing. Whatever you used to sign on in the beginning you will needx to retrieve everything you thought you lost. Phew I was ready to start over one more time, but that worked!!! I hope it works for you. Good luck. Either way, if it don't open and you really have to start over? It can't be avoided either way.

    power your iphone or ipad down, try to open app.it will not finish loading so you can go to settings switch to airplain mode try to start app again it wont load but it will search for a server.

    while it is doing this go back to settings and turn off airplane mode, go back to your app.

    now it works good luck

    Thank you!!!! I thought my game was gone forever, airplane mode trick saved it.

    I just got the LG Stylo 2 a couple day ago. So i wanyed Sims freeplay but after in downloads all of the content it wont load past the logo screen.

    Tried to restart, and the rest of it but it's still doing the same thing (I'm scared to think something is wrong)

    Samsung A51, it was working last month, now wifi and mobile data both cannot connect to the server. 

    I can no longer play sims free play on that mobile, 

    But it still works on Lexis tablet

    iPhone 11 and it has been 24 hours since I been on sims and it has been on the loading screen since yesterday it will not load the game today I sat there and left it open for a few minutes still didn’t load

    What device are you using?

    Samsung S21, same issue. Left it overnight and came back the next day. It was STILL loading.

    I’ve got the same issue except I had used the game two hours beforehand and then when I opened the app again it wouldn’t work. Has been that way for the last 8 hours. I have an iPhone 15. I have tried turning my phone on and off, using just my wifi, using just my phone data, hotspotting from my fathers phone, uninstalling the app and reinstalling (it worked for 10 mins but then same issue occurred). I have closed all my applications and all the stuff on the ea forms such as aeroplane Mode.
