Social Points Only for VIPs... New Capsule Features Sucks

Hello, I know this is probably pointless, but wanted to share my frustration. With the newest update as of today, they took the option to exchange Life Points into Social Points from us, by getting rid of the Social Points Flower. Now you can only get tokens for the Social Points Capsule at VIP Level 8 (!!!), this used to be available in exchange for 20 Life Points. Meaning the game is now officially only for players who spend a lot of money on the game and have reached VIP Level 8. I'm so disappointed. Does anybody else share this feeling? Please vote this up if you do! Perhaps we can show them that we don't agree with this. I wish they would still allow us to convert Life Points into Social Points, this was the only fall-back option to help with high social point costs for certain tasks (e.g. Development Sites). Please change it back to what it was!

I've been playing for 10 years,also I'm disgusted by this change and quite frankly its obvious what they are doing they want us to buy them from the online store. Who's dumb **bleep** idea,was this do you honestly think.this,sort of stuff helps you keep players. A smarter thing for you to have done is put quality objects for sale in the online store not hobble your players from winning events and not getting what they played so long for. Typical in today's climate

Yes like I happen to have enough VIP to get a daily capsule but I was still using LPs before the update to get more spins this update to capsules is so annoying. So stupid EA.

I agree, now the home garden patches are unusable and I miss them. Yeah hopefully the capsules are limited time.

Thanks everyone for all the likes and comments on this post, I agree and I'm still really disappointed, too. The capsules are the worst feature they have implemented, perhaps ever! I also wish they were limited time only.

And the thing is... there are so many other ways they could improve the "shop" to earn more money. Like I already posted here that I would gladly pay for missed prices if they don't repeat the events (e.g. the ones from the original pastel-coloured SimChase, the Kids Party House Template, previous Pregnancy Packs). But what do we get? The same old items on repeat that I don't want to spend money on. The items offered in the shop are so dull and stay on there for way too long. Instead they want us to pay for SP capsules... I will never pay actual money for the SP capsules when this used to be PART OF THE GAME. Please change it back!

I’ve been playing The Sims FreePlay since I was around 6 years old. I’ve literally been playing it for 12 years. I was already bummed when the garden replaced growing crops, as I used to get ten sims growing bell peppers to rely on upgrade materials and money. I would get ten sims cooking to rely on LP. I would also do a lot of TapJoy offers to get even more LP. I’m VIP 6, and I don’t really plan on spending much money anytime soon, and I need to spend $90 to get to VIP 8, and for what, one single roll a day!? Vs when I could get infinite!? I seriously feel alienated by this change, and I know I’m not alone.
