Sunset Mall - Unable to interact with ground floor activities

I just recently bulid the mall in my Sims town I recently just started the mall task I bought something from the mall that task was completed I did the invite crush to the mall after that was complet...

I updated to the new version, and now my Sims in the mall are waving their arms for me to tap on them to complete the hobby item collection, but the bubble hasn't shown up, so they're trapped. Does anyone know how to reset a Sim or any other solution?

Also having same issue. She is waving in red dress. I cant click anything. Even store i was building isnt showing active. However I cant build anything else in town bc of the mall store build being frozen
