11th of May 2020 - Multilevel Build update

Super excited for this. Im saving simoleons for this. Thought, i have to admit when i saw that a staircase was a prize for the sts, my heart dropped because i thought that was the only way to get a stair case but no, luckily there are 3 more to choose from the normal store. I'm going to have fun with this.

I agree that the multiple levels do get confusing especially at a party when trying to follow the action bubbles around & they look like they’re coming through the floor.  
But,  of course, I had to jump in and build up, 

(I’m such a sheeple)  

I’m keeping the top floor very simply furnished & will probably use it as a playroom  & just a place for my Sims to enjoy the waterfront views.  

Actually, I hope rooftop decks will turn up in the future 😂

The same thing happened when you had more than one house on the same lot.

All the furniture in the 2nd house would become event actions.

Now you have everyone partying in grandma's cottage. 😣

Like katclawsx3, I wanted a 2nd level, especially to separate my 2 families. I have to be careful about the furniture I place upstairs.

I do not like the fact that I do not see the Sims climbing the stairs. Is it me?

I wonder how long before a new Sweet Treat Shakedown Spiral Staircases become a Grand Prize that will cost thousands of SimCash, simmoleans, LZ tickets & probably your firstborn?  

It will take 1-1/2 months to complete the STS & another 7 days waiting on City Permits while you must wait an additional 18 hours for it to be installed.  

By that time it will be 2021 & you’ll be completely broke.   And you still won’t see any Sims on it 🙄😂

I turned the game on and it automatically  brought me to my 2nd home and then said i was approved to build a 2nd floor. The problem was.  I didnt want it on that house but on my first house. But when i tried that, nothing seamed free. And it keeps constantly reminding me of the floor leveles even though i checked it the other day.

It wouldn't  let me do the tutorial on my main lot. Also thats odd  that they say "its on them" when its not free.

@whackywhippet234 Could you try something for me? Can you see if you're able to follow the tutorial normally on whatever lot it's on, and when it comes to the point where it asks you to buy the floor for 20K Simoleons, just choose "No Thanks" instead (like you see in @SalixCat's screenshot).

After that, you can try and change lots and add the second floor to your main lot.
