Connection Type Wifi
Please select your region Asia
Country Hong Kong
Additional feedback I am sure it is caused by gameplay progress not sent to the cloud. Because when i switch to iphone from ipad, the game pops up "you have played on another device, game will resfresh" and game refreshes, just to realise the gameplay did not update fully (just first half of my game session was there) I went back to the ipad i played on and did couple more actions just to see if the actions are sent to cloud this time, then i open my iphone, progress is correct this time.

Long story short, I think game progress was not sent to the cloud properly.

  • This problem is a month old and it is still not fixed.

I noticed this issue sporadically, but it has come out in full force with the ASOS event.

I will play on one device, switch to another later, and then discover that my game progress has been lost.

It seems as though the last device I was using did not save its game state immediately after I finished playing. The last saved game state was from "some time before I stopped playing on the previous device."

When I pick up my second device to play, it loads state from the "some time earlier."

This is incredibly frustrating, especially during the limited time ASOS event. I have lost game progress on this special event as a result of this bug.

I will usually finish a series of events on one device, start a new round of events, and then switch to my other device later... only to discover that on my other device, the game state wasn't saved, so I have to restart my events again, losing time and progress.

Other EA games are able to save game state to Game Center without issues. Please fix this.

I have attached some photos from my two devices showing this behavior. The screen shots for Movies in the Park were taken within hours of teach other. The game mechanics do not allow this event to happen twice in the same morning.

I have this issue as well. I played The Sims Mobile on my iPhone 7 and did quite a few events. Just opened the game on my iPad Pro and it reset to my progress from 7-8 hours ago and I lost about 150 ASOS tokens as a result.

It seems like certain aspects of the game did sync. I got a new fashion item from Izzy during that time and it’s still there as with a new item I purchased inside my Sims’ home. What didn’t sync was the ASOS tokens I earned, the timers for all the events reset as well as a new career one of my Sim started lost al progress. I also finished my To Do List for the day and it still shows 100% completed, but the two parties I attended have disappeared so it shows I didn’t attend any parties yet.

Another week goes by, this is still an issue.

It seems there was a game update to convert ASOS tokens to Simoleons.

I discovered this because I was performing an action on a Sim, which locked up the game.

After a while, I force-quit the game and restarted it. I then lost at least an hour of play, which includes progress on the current marriage quest.

    So disappointed.

Here it is again, completing the same work chapter on two devices.

As the devices are different, note the different dimensions of each, and that each has different Sims in the background.

I think this may be related to my retired roomate not leaving and my husband moving in and then disappearing. I hope this is fixed soon.
  • I have been experiencing the same thing today.  I was first playing the game on my Galaxy Tab S3, and I created my fourth Sim, done some career events, bought some items, and started a party.  At first everything seemed OK, but when I logged in the game later on using another Android tablet, I realised that the game progression hadn't been saved properly.  Two of my Sims were at their work places doing career events that had they had already finished before, and my fourth Sim that I created vanished.   I have also lost some items, including a Standard Stove that one of my Sims gained from the cooking hobby.  I don't know what to do from here.  I really don't want to create another account and start a new game, because I have already invested time and some money into this game, even though I have not spent the much money on it.

  • Mamikins,

One thing that I do is bring both of my devices together and load the game on both.

For example: at the beginning of the day, I may start on my tablet, collect the login rewards, etc. Then I start the game on my phone to see if it picks up the saved status from the tablet.

This is very cumbersome, but usually helps ensure that my game status is saved between devices.

Obviously, there are some glaring pitfalls to this approach... for example, if I head out for the day without one of my devices.

Also, if you start the day by opening Sims Mobile on both devices at the same time, you may experience Groundhog Day where you can restart the day over and over!

  • I'm having a similar but more complicated issue. I play on my Huawei Android phone and my Samsung android tablet. My game is linked to some kind of gamer profile and facebook to use over both devices. My save file seems to have completely corrupted. I was at a stage of the game where I had the cot for the baby,  just completed the mission to have the baby but when I loaded the game this morning I do not have the cot and the mission is still there telling me to go to the civic centre but the civic centre is now locked. I would have just kept playing if it had just set me back to an earlier save point but there's no way I can complete the mission when the buildings are still locked. I've tried updating my tablet's operating system and reinstalling the game but it only gave me the option to resume from the corrupted save or to continue on a brand new game.
