[Fixed?] No option to interact with other Sims

Product: The Sims Mobile
Platform:Android Phone
List the specific devices you play with (e.g. iPhone 6s Plus, Samsung Galaxy S7) -
OS Version -

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I can't even socialize with Sims that do have the blue plumbob. I can only give stickers but nothing else. My attachment shows what I get when I click someone to socialize. And then when I click a neighbor sim it says they can't chat right now. It's really starting to bother me. Everything was fine until I added a baby and then something changed and I can't talk to anyone anymore.

I can't even socialize with Sims that do have the blue plumbob. I can only give stickers but nothing else. My attachment shows what I get when I click someone to socialize.     When I press socialize to see my wife Genevieve Wahl (who is a neighbour and doesn't have a blue plum bob), it doesn't work. But, it works with players who have a blue one. The bug occurred recently. In the past, I was able to invite her. I even had a kid with her but she wasn't at my house and her character did not show up.

    @SiriuslyBlack23, thanks for your detailed report! You mention this happens with one Sim in your neighbor (not a player owned blue plumbob Sim). Could you check please if it happens with other non-blue plumbob Sims as well, or only with that one?

    I have having the same issue. My sims wont socialize with each other because "sim cant chat right now" and for others with a blue plumbob I can only give stickers. This glitch was particularly inconvenient during the party I was forced to throw in which I couldnt interact with anything. I also cant interact with any hobby objects.

    Ive tried resetting and reinstalling with no luck

    I think I may have figured out the issue. I believe there is a glitch with events with the baby. This morning one of my Sims started an event with her new baby. The event star interactioons disappeared so I thought something happened and it was over. She's been able to participate in work events but is unable to socialize with anyone other than her baby. But the interactions with baby are pink almost like she is still in the event or something. Is there a way to fix it? My other sim is having no issues interacting with anyone. Only the one I tried to do the baby event with.

    I've split your posts to a new thread because your issue seemed different than in the other thread.

    Thanks for the details! Good catch on the baby event being the problem, @NeonDream09! One of our advisors might be able to help with that, could you please contact them through the help option in the game, or EA Help?

    If you choose to contact through EA Help, please, add your player ID to the information as they will need to ask for that and if you provide it from the beginning things will be faster 😉

    @AsSaneAsIAm could you please check if you have a baby event or another family event active with that Sim?

    This made me chuckle, just because when you actually have a baby in real life, you pretty much lose all your real life ‘friends’ and don’t talk to anyone.. this maybe a frustrating game bug, but it’s probably the most realistic bug in the entire history of gaming 😂

    I do not have any other event active with that sim to my knowledge. I dont currently have any events.
