Your save progress should be restored once you fully complete the tutorial- try completing it and let me know if you see your progress then.

I tried that. I completed the tutorial and then tried logging into my saved game but the problem remains. The issue is, my game is linked, my current progress is still available to download. But the tutorial will not stop when I choose the option to download my previous progress. The tutorial has somehow merged with my saved game. So I am back to level 1 when I was at level 48 in the saved game. Moreover, the game is stuck and I can't do anything at all. I can't go to another location, I'm missing buttons, can't access the menu, my house (the starter house) has no doors or items, so I can't place anything to appease the tutorial.
