Game merged with tutorial, progress lost, game stuck
Hi all! There's this problem I have been facing with the game and I hope you all can help me. I uninstalled The Sims Mobile on Monday due to some issues and reinstalled it the same day. My game is connected to my Google Play account, and normally, when I reinstall, I can log back in without any problems since my progress is saved through that account. I've never had any issues in the past. However, on Monday, when the pop-up appeared asking if I wanted to access my saved game and I selected that option, I discovered that most of my progress was missing. I had previously reached level 48, but now I’m back at level 1. It seems like the game has merged with the tutorial. All my builds and items, including those in my inventory, are gone. Although the game is still linked to my Google Play account and the correct progress appears to be available for download, the tutorial won’t stop even after I choose to restore my saved data. As a result, I’m stuck. I can’t navigate to other locations, several buttons are missing, and I can’t access the menu. My starter house also has no doors, so I’m unable to place anything required to move past the tutorial. I have contacted ea support several times since Monday. They ask me to raise the issue in-game through the help menu. The problem is that the sidebar containing the help buttons itself is missing. I'll attach a screenshot to show how the game is appearing right now. The advisor asked me to post the issue on the forum so here I am. I also contacted EA Help via mail but they haven't replied yet. Remember how glitched the Sims Mobile game is known to be; when it comes to losing … Aquitainces/Contacts? Welp- there it's shortly my point. I've been playing with a new app, new accounts: since the very-end-of April (2025). Then..After playing still until close to middle-of-May...THE GLITCH just happened! I've lost at least 5 aquitainces/contacts.... And, tragically: one of them was someone I was planning to start a relationship with. So I obviously did try everything to possibly recover lost data; or find him throughout any other way possible -but- I only had added his Sim to my contacts, nothing else: except I did see out of curiosity what the username linked to it was! (It basically was the main information I have found myself left with...Except for some others little details..Like the Sim himself name & house looks; adding approximative idea of what Google Play Games account-name could've been: based on the Player username, so.) I've also lost several others contacts during these last few days -by the way; while adding new ones. (But those didn't quite mattered so far to me..I'm too devastated by my first/main “loss” already...) Even though I'll appreciate having them back again • it would be just a potential bonus.... I'm trying to link my new save to my existing X/Twitter account, but I'm getting an error message whenever I click the option to connect. It says "Connection Failure: Failed to connect to Twitter" (please see attached photo). I didn't even get to the redirected page where I can type my X logins. The Sims Mobile and X apps were both up-to-date on my device, my Wi-Fi connection is stable, and there were no restrictions placed on my X account. Why can't I earn any more tokens but it says there's still 19 hours left? With the ongoing technical issues I have been experiencing I'm surprised to have gotten so far in the showdown, I have really grinded the heck out this game. I only have 5 boxes to go, this is so frustrating. The game keeps crashing and freezing. I have turned my phone off and on as well as restarted it and even uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Other applications on my phone such as The Sims FreePlay and SimCity BuildIt are working without bug issues. I'm using Android. Since May 5th, I stopped receiving any messages in game. I made sure that my save accounts are linked. I also reinstalled the TSM app, which didn't fix the messages. I installed TSM on another Android device and I'm still not receiving in-game messages on the second device. A friend is trying to adopt my Sims, but the move out messages aren't being received in my game.
