I have the same EXACT problem for 3 years now. EA still has no clue to fix this without in-game ticket. They probably can but are restricted by "Protocol"

    I'm so sorry. They asked me to start a new game and send the ticket. I did so and now I've lost my saved game. Maybe I'll start playing again, but it'll be after a long time. Just the thought makes me mad.
