my sims can’t do any task at home

Product: The Sims Mobile
Platform:Apple iPhone

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? my sim can't do any tasks at home, two overlapping green check button (clear the weeds task) at home can't be completed/ended, other buttons/icons at home can't be clicked
What do you expect to see? my sim able to do tasks at home, can click on the icons at home to end/complete tasks or to collect rewards, able to move the camera around when at home, fix background stuttering/repeating noise when sim at home

When I opened my sims mobile to play, I suddenly can't click on the two overlapping green check buttons to end the tasks (clear the weed task) and any other icons like to collect rewards. There is also a noise in the background that keeps stuttering or repeating when my sims is at home. My sims can't do any tasks at home but when in other areas, my sims are able to do tasks and the background sound is fine. I can't move the camera around at home as well.

  • It sounds like something might be wrong with your save file. Best thing would be to contact an EA game advisor about this issue. 

    You can do so through The Sims Mobile app. Open the side menu, choose the gear icon, then the button with 'Help'.
    This will open your browser, scroll down until you see 'Contact Us' and choose 'Technical Support'.

    yeah I've tried doing that twice, I also tried deleting and reinstalling the sims mobile, cleared cache but  nothing seems to work... I hope it will be fixed soon as it kinda limits my options for earning simoleons and cash, I could not even do llamazoom tasks and recharge my energy as all of these requires my sim to be at home 😞

    It sounds like something might be wrong with your save file. Best thing would be to contact an EA game advisor about this issue.

    Thank you. I sent the technical support a request as you’ve suggested. I’ve actually contacted them before but I could be in the wrong section as I’ve sent it through report a bug button. Hopefully, this time it will work and solve my issue. Cheers!

    After contacting EA technical services, someone from their team reverted my progress back to before the issue happened, it did solve the problem despite losing some experience. Thank you again!

    Hi.. i have same problem.. i already contacted ea tech support as u mention above. It’s already three days but sill no reply from them. ☹️
