New game update New payment system messed up

Izzy's store wanting to charge money every time you reroll when you run out of gems. If a person is charged an amount for every reroll it will send off a fraud flag if my credit card gets charged the same amount over and over for every reroll.

It is happening with heirloom tickets too. I have sims cash in my account yet the game wants to charge my credit card money for extra heirloom tickets I'm short.

Please put the payment system back to the way it was. Until this issue is resolved, I will not spend any money on this game. I am not going to have my credit card block my usage for possible fraud charges all because EA wants to charge per reroll in izzys store or buy extra heirlooms should I be short a few.

  • That doesn't sound right. Best thing would be to contact an EA game advisor about this issue.

You can do so through The Sims Mobile app. Open the side menu, choose the gear icon, then the button with 'Help'.
This will open your browser, scroll down until you see 'Contact Us' and choose 'Technical Support'.

    Open the spoiler for pictures:

If this fails for some reason, or you can't access The Sims Mobile app.

You can contact EA through this link: https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/

If you want to do so in a different language you can choose your country of choice in the upper right-hand corner.

You can also choose to contact an EA game advisor through social media:

@Phantomlover1717 I posted in the forum to let others know but also PMed Guru. EA did change the payment system and it's not for the better. I asked Guru to change it back. I hope they do because I can't be charged the same amount over and over if I run out of gems. My izzy closet is full and for the moment I have everything I want from izzy so this new payment system will not effect me again but others will get hit with it eventually

@Phantomlover1717 just so you can see, ea is charging per reroll when you run out of gems. The amount they charge depends on what you have pinned to keep. It's either pay per reroll when you run out of gems or take something you don't want from izzy only to wind up trashing Izzy's stuff you don't want.

Yes, this is normal. It's a bit backwards with the pinning system in my opinion. But this is how EA earns money to pay The Sims team.

Of course it's optional for you to buy these gems. And yeah sometimes items aren't all that cool and you have to accept that you can't change it.

That is part of the game...

@Phantomlover1717 No it's not normal. When we ran out of gems before we were able to go in and buy bundles of sims cash, then buy more gems to reroll. We were not charged an amount of money per reroll. Credit cards will send out fraud alerts when a credit card is charged the same amount over and over . This is a money grab and no we should not have to accept it.
