Owned Heirlooms not Available

What do you expect to see? My heirlooms restored so they are playable.

Additional feedback I don't really know when this started happening, as I rarely retire my sims so I don't look at my heirlooms often.

Certain heirlooms are locked and I cannot choose them as traits for my new sims. Competitive (1 star), Artistic (1 star), and Sly (1 star). I have the heirlooms, and they are showing the star even though they are greyed out. See pic as an example. Thanks.

  • Did you physically win, buy, or got these heirlooms through retirement? If so please provide a picture of these heirlooms. The picture you provided shows them as locked if you unlocked them you should have the statues of them. 😃

    I might wait until the update when the inventory is organized... like looking for a needle in a haystack right now. I did earn or win them all and have even used the competitive trait in the past. I find it odd that there would be a star if I didn't have the heirloom.

  • When going to the store, then the last tap with the Plumbob, you'll see a button 'Heirloom Collection', see if the missing heirlooms show up there.

    Thanks ... forgot there was another way to look. Don't have the heirlooms. I suppose it's another glitch; not sure about the others, but I know I have used the competitive trait in the past. Not worth messing with tech support; I'll buy them when they come back around in the store. Thank you all.

    Wow, if you had those traits, that would really stink to lose them. I'm super surprised by your cavalier response! If I suddenly lost three rare heirlooms, worth 150 purple luxe tickets, you can trust that I would contacting tech support ASAP, rather than waiting to spend 150 luxe tickets in the store. Those heirlooms take forever to cycle back around in the store, and even longer to save up enough to purchase them.

    If you happen to find any screenshots of your sims having those traits, then you should consider contacting tech support. Good luck!

    I really would like to know if it is necessary to keep the heirlooms on display in the house to secure that they are not lost. This has been debated elsewhere on AHQ also, but I still don’t know.

    Anyway, to be on the safe side, I keep the most valuable heirlooms on display, AND I have taken pictures of them all as proof should it be necessary to ask for help ever again. Because I have lost a career in the past, but I got help for EA help to get it back 😊, so I don’t see why you shouldn’t try @Hretha . If they can’t help you, they can’t ... but if they can, you will save yourself weeks of collecting tickets! Good luck 👍
