Remove broken furniture

My table broke and it says I need to replace it. I can't delete the old table. It won't go into inventory because it's broken. Am I supposed to just keep my broken table sitting in my living room?!? I've already tried just buying a new table. I can't figure out what to do.

    My table also broke, I just clicked on it and there was an option to repair it, did this not work for you?

    It did, thanks! I'm new to Sims Mobile and in Sims 3, when things broke I always got rid of it by selling it in the shopping mode. So that's what I tried first, and there's no way to do that. I still think there should be a sell option, but that's an EA issue, so I'll adjust.
