- Totally agree and being part of a team even installing scripts or describing to others on your team how they may help is all part of the game too. For me its a big thank you to @o0netquik0o
- roofer4ever4 years agoSeasoned Veteranwell the worst ones for me are offline players having auto repair, everyone using advanced tools seem to have set upgrade sequences that provide the best ROI possible which is not even calculable to anyone without such tools. tools allowing players to see into the bases of protected players and tools that show if players are online. i must concede layout searching scripts do sound useful but im unaware of the complete list of what exists and prefer to remain that way but im sure there is more to "complain" about..
- nefrontheone4 years agoSeasoned AceIf the use of a script that can be considered abusive is detected, it must be reported to EA, attaching the appropriate accusatory evidence (not our word). And the developers should also be notified in case they can contribute some more knowledge about the behavior of said script.
Keep in mind that it is EA who ultimately decides whether or not a script violates game rules and the development team generates appropriate countermeasures to prevent (or at least mitigate) the use of abusive scripts.
Note: If there is no complaint with reliable evidence to prove it, EA does not act. - Also note, the whilst the report may be acted upon, you won't be told what action has been taken and it may appear to you that nothing has changed. (Of course, nothing may change!)
- Fighting954 years agoNew Travelernice thread, interesting and id also like to play a world with only the game scripts ...why, because like chad im a bit of a Luddite when it comes to computers etc, and have learnt a lot of the games mechanics by trial and error . also with the help of veteran players.
i have used scripts and at this moment i do have it installed but switched off, because it makes my game crash when i use it , this is properly due to the age of my computer and when i do use it , its for a layout scan only.
i like the fact i can look at a FG base and set up a attack, run it on the attack stimulator and find no improvement, that is a skill i have learnt form all the years i have played this game .
it would be a very interesting experiment to run a script free world, it would have to be seen how many would take up the challenge., but i would love to give it a go.
regards
Tommo
Tommo156 & Fighting95th - If your computer crashes playing the game with scripts turned on it would be worth checking that you are using the latest version of your browser of choice and each script. Many had to be updated for the introduction of patch 22.2 precisely because they would cause a crash.

If scripts generate errors in a loop that can cause a memory leakage at browser side (the tab where the game is loaded). You should first check if errors comes out in browser console when using your script. Then you should try to install the latest working version of the script you use. Me and others seem not affected by any problem (also loading many scripts at a time). Let me know if you want. I would try to help you. Bye. - Fighting954 years agoNew Travelerhmmm thanks guys, i will let my nephew read what you have written as he will understand the terms you use :)
im a bit of a Luddite when it comes to computers etc,
but thanks for the in put, now i believe we digress from the title of the thread and best return before we are noted by a moderator :)
so do we believe this could happen , in some format and also could it include the old res settings for defeating a foe in war - nefrontheone4 years agoSeasoned AceThe use of scripts is not prohibited in the game, moreover, there are tools provided by the developers themselves to improve the game.
What should be absolutely clear is that the development of scripts that go against the rules of the game or that can be used by other people in an inappropriate way is FORBIDDEN.
-----
Using scripts or the number of scripts that can be used is only limited by the capabilities of the machine on which they are executed.
No one is forced to use scripts, at least NOT by the developers themselves, but if your commander in chief tells you to use them, it's up to you to decide. - I am looking to update to Window 11 will that have any impact on scripts?
