Salut a tous je sais pas ci vous avait remarquer cette augmentation des funds c'est devenue hors de prix 40€ pour 90.000 funds et 4.55 pour 6000 ca commence a faire très chère la plupart des gans qui on peux de moyen et qu'il veule faire comme tout le monde bientôt ne pourront plus a cause de cette hausse faramineuse il faut faire quelque chose une pétition ou autre ne penssont pas qu'a nous mes au autre aussi merci a tous d'avance

A thousand players paying $10 is better than 100 paying $40. This seems extremely short sighted in the times. Just my view, I welcome thoughts of others on this.

You know it surprises me time after time that people with a reasonable intellect (I assume the top of EA-Origine have some) can come to these ridiculous decisions, cutting off their noses to spite their faces. I can understand that EA are not happy that players from all over the world buy at Argentine prices, but to set prices at US level for the whole world is the wrong move. Your volume will go down and in the end so will your profits, because players are buying more funds at the lower prices,lower cost of funds stimulates more playing.

Oh well, this game became 'farmville' some time ago anyway, and farming is boring as you-know-what.
I started to play this game on World 32, a good 2 909 days ago. I have seen a lot of changes. The punishment of being a PvPer has grown and grown over the recent years. C&C TA being a war game has been forgotten some time ago, and the development of the game has surrendered to the not so skilled complainers. The game used to require skill, now it just requires a sturdy ass to sit on, and first dig, then farm.
I am bored. I am very much interested in taking my strategy skills elsewhere.
My money is going elsewhere for sure.

We told EA about this fact because that's part of the business, how they would respond is was up to them and not really communicated to us in advance. I don't necessarily think its a good change to cut out so many local currencies from their billing options in favor of USD, but that's ultimately their call.

@EE_Elephterion as you know there are not many teams left playing this game.

So far atleast half of the community has already let you know they will not continue at this price.
And im sure there are more that just wont.
My team Serenity wont.
The Russians and Polish in Crazy Machine wont either.
And im sure many others in Latin Crazy, Section 8, TTD etc wont either.

Thats already around 600 to 1000 players that wont be playing anymore if not more.

Is EA blind to this ?
This game will die if its not changed.
Envision will lose its contract to maintain this game so its a negative for your company too.
Im sure this pays for some Bradwurst BBQs you hold and money doesnt grow on trees.
Isnt this being relayed to the proper people there at EA?

The EA Employee Soixie defending these changes at all turns by calling us thieves and frauds isnt helping either.

Could you confirm then that you've also let them know about the disgust of the pricing structure from many people (with the exception of Soixie who's either an employee of EA or in the fortunate position of being stinking rich).

These discussions are a waste of time - in the end there will be no changes for different reasons.

I´m done with that game. Is was a nice amusement for long time - but now its a overpriced boring farming game. There are other/better options to spend money/time.

I think @EE_Elephterion did his job. No point in blaming him or even accusing him of nefarious purposes. He's obligated per his job. Full stop.

I think this thread addresses an underlying pricing discrepancy that has been hidden for years because everyone that has played this game seriously has known of the different country loopholes for cheaper funds. Before Argentina, it was several other countries.

Here are the facts:
1. According to the majority that have posted here (besides devs, Soixie, and moderators) have stated that 40 dollars for 50k funds is too high a price.
2. The issue of the game being too expensive has not been brought up because most players who have seriously played this game have known of the loopholes and have bought cheaper funds accordingly.

Moving forward:
1. I personally would like to have an EA representative respond with EA's position to this thread or provide a post somewhere to let us know they are aware and provide justification or state that they are looking into making adjustments and providing an update. @EE_Elephterion is it possible for you to pass this along to the appropriate individuals so the TA player community gets EA's official position posted in the forums?

2. Years past (this is dating me), EA did hold several holiday deals every year. This hasn't happened in years (probably because they were aware of the loopholes). Could EA bring back occasional holiday discounts? If I remember correctly, the 50k package was increased by x amount and brought the actual adjusted cost to around 20-24 dollars for 50k funds.
