I bought the game recently on steam. When ever I try to launch it, it will either load the EA app and not launch or i'll get a appliction failed to launch error with the code 0xc00000ba. I only have this issue with this game and Mass Effect Andromeda. I've tried to run it in admidsitator and combatablilty modes, they did nothing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled them, and i've tried to repair the files. Nothing has been fixed does anyone know what i can do?

Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from EA App - Repair (My Collection > Tile Dots > Repair) EGS - Repair (Library > Tile dots > Manage > Verify) Steam - Verify in your library EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery) Connection and Advance Connection Guides Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates Check Drivers, Default to High-Performance GPU: Troubleshooting Graphics issues Install/Repair your VC++ files for your game (Microsoft VC++ Link) Restart your device in Clean Boot mode, then just try running the client and game

What type of network are you using? (Wired, Wireless, Hotspot) If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip... If on PC, please share a DxDiag and an EA app Error ID Cheers!

HI @North637 To confirm was asking for admin privileges a recent pop-up? If so, can we check the following: Any Anti-virus (or other security) quarantining files or preventing the game from reading/writing Check if the drive TF2 is installed to, has read/write permissions from Windows Try running the desktop icon as an admin.

Yes asking for admin privileges was recent. Where do i go to check if the drive TF2 is installed to, has read/write permissions from Windows? I tried the other two things you suggested with nothing changing.

Hi @North637

When installing on Steam it will ask you which drive to install the game to that would be the location. I believe you can also right-click on the game in steam and see where it is installed.

On that storage drive, you should be able to right-click the install folder > Select Properties

- Make sure Read-only is unchecked

- Under the "security" tab make sure your account on the device has full access/control

I have already tried intalling both the game and EA app to different drives without success. As I said before I have also tried it on my laptop as well to find the same error.

I tried to do this but the Read-only keeps becoming checked. The security account does have full access/control and the game still won't launch. I just wanted to make sure this is what i'm supposed to be trying to uncheck?

As I stated earlier this is an issue on EA's end. No amount of installing/reinstalling will fix this. If you could report this bug to the software team so they could develop a fix that would be helpful.
