- So, I'm still slightly confused with the information above. Does the License help get more probes total or the same amount of probes in a quicker time? What is it's advantage?

Agreed, EA should not put items like this in the store. I spent 10$ on this item only to realize that they used a clever way of labeling it. Although it does not mention that there is a limit, and that spending 90 Donuts on this item does not give you any extra benefits than someone who does not have this item. EA just robbed me.
Maybe after the event, it will be used to give you more friendship points, lol.direwolf987 wrote:

twice the number of probes.
You can take 90 actions to potentially earn probes per day.
Without the license - you get 1 probe per action
with the license - you get 2 probes per action
So the license doubles the number of probes you can get from friends daily.
please note that if you go into a non-updated town, and click on a building - that counts as an action against your 90, but no probe.Bull3tRainx wrote:

see above. it does give you extra benefit. 90 more probes per day.
same number of actions, twice the probes per action.dhlennon wrote:
Looks like this is only useful for people with less than 30 neighbo(u)rs. Glad i checked before buying!
Yeah, me too. But I agree it is useful for those with only a few neighbors.hokieborn wrote:

Okay, got it. Thanks for the detailed explanation :)- Thanks for this thread, it's the first mention I've seen of the 90 action limit. I was scouring the boards because I stopped getting probes for visiting friends, and I was thinking did I...you know...
Go crazy?
Don't mind if I do!!! AAaaaablblblblblblb-ah! Eeeeh! Uh! Uuhh! - smohqyNew SpectatorI'm so on the fence about the license. I haven't figured this whole event out yet, and have yet to know what all the awesome prizes will be. If I'm going to get the license, sooner is better than later. Will I be able to achieve everything without it? I JUST made the 38,000 gold before the cutoff in CoC (actually before the ACTUAL cutoff, still got some the next day).
Auuuurgh! Decisions, decisions.
Guess I have a lot more to read and learn before committing. smohqy wrote:

I passed on it. 90 donuts for an extra 90 probes/day or appx 3000/event. Not worth the price for me. Too early to tell if you'd be able to achieve everything with or without it but probes seem to be the easiest to get. I've earned around 700 so far today.- What do you all think are more valuable, bags or probes? I've got just enough to get Jimbo and Sherri & Terri, the only two characters I don't have that can trick-or-treat. I'll be in the single digits in donuts, but then the characters will be of some use after THOH is over, so there's that. But if probes are more important, I might get the license and one kid character.
