Bartscreen Returns

It started back Friday. Just here and there at first. Now I'm struggling to get back into the game. I just keep getting Bartscreened over and over.
Have they dumped us back on old servers or something now that they've finished buying that other company?

I currently can't get into the game. Bart screens and constant loading

I wondered if it was happening to just me. For several days, I've been getting the Bart screen every time I start the game, then the 15 second cycle then i click "retry" and the game loads and no further problem. No big deal.

Now I just keep getting the 15 second cycle over and over. ("Retry", 15-second countdown, "Retry", 15-second cycle, etc etc)

    ?
  • I'm not trying to make you feel bad @KeithEl777 but I also live in Britain and I've been in and out all day with no problems, just the usual 1 Bart, swipe away to force a sync & I'm in.
I'm on android whether that makes a difference or not, I dunno.

Waving back South easterly @annettemarc ?????

Mine was doing that to me earlier. I swiped the app away, went to settings, turned off my wi-fi, waited a few seconds, turned it back on... Then I could get in.
  • I had no problems until the new event started. Since then, nothing but connection problems
  • They absolutely did something when they switched us to the Valentine's event.

This issue has occurred so often with such consistency that i have to believe it's on their end. It's like they had us on primary equipment for the winter event, and we had fairly smooth performance. Then this Valentine's event started and I'm back to multiple crashes per session.

But the cause could be anything. It could be as simple as a default minimum timeout specification being less than usual. Meaning if you lose communication for longer than X seconds, it drops your connection from the server.

They may also temporarily decrease the spec intentionally, to reduce traffic. Reasons are aplenty. So try not to take it personally. When our device and network conditions are constant, it's obvious it's them, not us. But I've noticed it too and it's annoying as heck. Hang in there hopefully they'll make a correction soon.
